Tour Plan
Day 1: Cusco – Km 82 – Wayllabamba (The Beginning of the Journey)
Your adventure begins early in the morning with a hotel pick-up from Cusco. We travel through the Sacred Valley to reach Km 82, the official starting point of the legendary Inca Trail.
Upon arrival:
- Meet your trekking team (guide, porters, chef)
- Passport control at the checkpoint
- Final preparations before starting the hike
As you take your first steps on the Inca Trail, you begin walking on paths that were built over 500 years ago by the Inca civilization.
The first day is relatively gentle, allowing your body to adapt gradually.
During the hike:
- Walk along the Urubamba River
- Enjoy views of valleys and mountains
- Visit the archaeological site of Llactapata
Your guide will introduce you to the history of the Incas and the importance of this ancient route.
After approximately 5–6 hours of hiking, we arrive at Wayllabamba.

After an early breakfast, we begin the ascent through changing landscapes:

- Increasing altitude and breathtaking views
The climb to Warmiwañusca (Dead Woman’s Pass – 4,215 m) is a true test of endurance.
Along the way:
- Take strategic breaks to acclimatize

Reaching the summit is a powerful moment of achievement — surrounded by towering peaks and deep silence.
After celebrating at the top, we descend into Pacaymayo valley.

Day 3: Pacaymayo – Wiñay Wayna (The Most Beautiful Day)
This is often considered the most spectacular day of the entire Inca Trail.

You will visit:
- Runkurakay
- Sayacmarca
- Phuyupatamarca
- Wiñay Wayna

The most anticipated moment of your journey begins before sunrise.
We start hiking early to reach the legendary Inti Punku (Sun Gate).

From there, we descend into the citadel.
